  • Do you allow children?
    Sadly due to potential hazards around both properties we do not allow young children in either rental.
  • How do I get to Vis?
    Vis does not have its own airport, as such, most arrivals into Croatia will be leaving from Split Airport and then using a boat transfer to the island, please see below for the options for getting to the island. Ferry from Split: The most common way to reach Vis is by ferry from Split. Ferries run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance, and you can purchase tickets at the ferry terminal or online. Catamaran from Split: Alternatively, you can take a catamaran, which is a faster option. The catamaran ride takes about 1.5 hours. Please check the schedule and purchase tickets accordingly. Private Transfers: If you prefer a more personalized experience, you can consider arranging a private transfer. Taxis and shuttle services are available at Split Airport to take you to the ferry or catamaran terminal.
  • Do you allow pets?
    Sadly we do not allow pets at either property due to potential damage and extra cleaning required.
  • Can I Swim in the Sea outside the Properties?
    Yes. You are welcome to swim in the sea outside but please uphold normal health and safety precautions as with any swimming.
  • Is Linen Provided?
    All linen, including beach towels are provided for your stay.
  • What is included when I book?
    All guests are met at the ferry terminal by our Property Manager who will take you directly to your accommodation and show you the rental. A complimentary breakfast package will be available for your arrival. Depending on availability we can also offer bicycles for your holiday. If hiring the Speedboat, we can also offer the use of the water-skis at no extra fee.
  • Who Do I Contact If I Have an Issue?
    The Property Manager, Toni, is available throughout the duration of your stay to assist if there are any issues, his details will be provided after booking. If you have questions prior to your stay you can also contact us via the 'Contact Us' portal on this website.
  • Is there a Medical Centre on the Island?
    There is a Medical Centre and several pharmacies on the island, the details are provided in the Welcome Pack for your arrival.
  • Are there Taxis on the Island
    Yes, a number of taxi companies are available.
  • What is the password to access the booking page?
    As this is a private residence, the password for booking is given to select members from specific organisations and friends in Lord and Lady Newborough's circle. If you believe you should require access please contact us direct and we can get to know your situation (if you have been referred etc) and provide booking details on a case by case basis.
  • I have forgotten the booking password what do I do?
    Please contact us direct or liaise with Lord and Lady Newborough.
  • Can I Rent Both Properties?
    Yes absolutely! Both properties come with their own rates which would need to be paid together; just add both rentals when you are booking and select the dates required. Please note, that renting both properties will depend on availability.
